Overview

The BDO Technology Advisory team are pleased to present our second Technology Symposium which will be held on Thursday 28th February, 2019 at the Pullman Adelaide on Hindmarsh Square from 8am to 6pm, centrally located for easy access by all attendees, with access to parking and public transport.

Like many other sectors in the economy, the health, ageing and disability sectors are faced with the changes both in government policy and market forces and reductions in government funding. The industry is moving towards consumer directed and user-pay care. Australians will have far greater choice and care will be based on needs. Most people want to stay independent, remain in the home, connected to family and their community for much longer.

Service Providers will need to build scale and adopt more services, they are going to need strong systems in place to ensure accurate reporting, better manage costs, and implement revenue-based strategies to maintain the earnings. Organisations are re-shaping their business models, re-tooling, and re-organising to meet the new market style service system.
